In an uninhabited forest child Narada began to meditate upon the supersoul within. Sri Krishna appeared to Narada in his form of the Supersoul and Narada became overpowered by feelings of happiness. Narada then lost sight of the Lord and was very much aggrieved, Krishna seeing Narada's grief spoke to him with pleasing word's "O Narada I regret very much that during this lifetime you will not be able to see Me anymore. O virtuous one, you have only once seen My person, and this is just to increase your desire for Me, because the more you hanker for Me, the more you will be freed from material desires ".
